Replace expedition rack rubber strip?

On the rear cross member of the G4 rack there is a thick rubber strip, like you see in the middle of some roof bars. Has anyone replaced this and found a suitable replacement material on eBay or elsewhere? Mine is perished and won't stay in place. I find this useful when carrying items longer than the length of my roof rack

I removed mine years ago. Kept coming off if I entered a parking structure that was just high enough for me to hit the test bar on entrance. I removed it and who knows where it is.

If I need to carry something else up on top of the rack, I end up using some other kind of pad. Sorry this doesn't help much.

Thanks. I like that this strip helps stick kayaks/ paddle boards to roof. I’ll have a more thorough look but initial research didn’t produce one the same

It's a standard Thule insert strip. Available from Thule dealers or ebay etc. Thumbs Up
