So its looking likely to be a turbo fault causing the overboost.
What is a realistic amount of hours i should be looking to pay for someone to swap the turbo please?
I’d be checking all air induction hoses before and after the turbo as I had similar faults and I had 1 leak at the throttle body and another at the pipe joint near rhs of radiator before it went to the turbo as the bracket was broken on the vertical pipe that fixed to the radiator cowel Metal auto sump & fluid change (3 hrs)
LR door puddle projectors (10 mins)
Tinted Bonnet wind deflector (10 mins)
All Intercooler pipes and Tbolts (2hrs)
3 injectors replaced so far (30mins)
Sunroof drain pipes both sides 2.5 hrs)
Rear discs, shoes, pads, callipers, flexi hoses, rigid brake line, n/s upper hub carrier bush and rear n/s upper arm (13hrs over 2 days)

So the actuator arm is sticking
Does anyone recommend any particular fix ie oven cleaner etc?
Looking at videos turbo removal looks not a simple task!

Hi
I’m looking at buying a disco with same faults(incl key fobs), did you cure your faults. Or am I possibly looking at your vehicle if you don’t have it anymore
Thanks
