Fault Code P0806 and P080A and P0810
Hi! Looking for help...
Lots of codes here related to the rear locking diff.
I replaced the motor on top as these codes were related to this. I couldn't clear the codes once plugged in.
I couldn't clear the codes with my GAP tool (although I did update it to the latest ECU firmware)
I've had it in the shop already and they couldn't clear the code either.
Which means:
1) There is still an issue with the new motor - its a dud and would have to be replaced.
2) There is a reason it's not resetting - could it be the re diff module is an issue?
3) Mechanically there is a issue with the diff that is presenting the clutch and the sensor from not aligning or resetting.
I don't think it's #1.
#2 is a possibility, but I'm not sure how to get to the module to clean the contacts and replug.
#3 is a strong possibility because a) the locking pin - I think has been pulled out by a previous owner and as I discovered in another thread it may have cause the clutch to slip below the pin. B) I also pulled this by accident thinking it was a fill plug.
So my question to you all:
How can I realign the pin in the correct place, if that is in fact the issue.
If I need to turn the gear in the diff (after removing the motor) to get the clutch to line up with the pin - how easy is this?
Do the wheels need to be off the ground to turn the diff in anyway.
Do I need a new diff?
Please help - I am stuck on this one!

I would check the wiring, it may have rubbed on something.
You could also remove the motor and check that it works when not fitted in the diff just incase something is siezed inside preventing it operating.

Have removed and checked. Operating correctly.
Thinking it may be something else.
Have removed and cleaned connectors at the rear diff module. Still the same.

Does anyone know which wiring should be checked? I know there's a huge bundle under there, but I'm wondering which actually runs to the motor?

but there's the rub - took it to the shop and they couldn't calibrate it - even with their tools....
I wish I could do it with my GAP tool, but apparently this isn't the case.
did this ever get resolved? Would love to know what the actual real fault was as I have exactly same error code and cant clear it, I have not replaced anything at this stage.
