EPB fault (I know, sorry)
Afternoon guru's. I'm having a slight problem with my EPB mainly being that it dosn't work. I'm getting C1A47-01 Force Sensor Electrical Fault with associated "parking brake fault" on the dash and bings when I try and use the EPB. When using the IID tool it makes a noise kinda like a bang when using the "unjam" option but then says "operation fail E 0" and when I do into the input page to latch/mount I just get a black screen and no noises when I operate the 2 options or I get "undefined" sometimes.
I've searched the forums for that code but only found 2 posts, neither really helped. I've read the huge unjam/repair post with pictures but that hasn't fixed the fault either but I'm not sure I can tell if its re-latched after the emerg cable pull, or even if this is the issue.
I've never actually had it working because I brought the car with a snapped crank and the EPB/rear wheels were seized, had to drag it onto the trailer. When I pulled the release cable I heard a clunk but the wheels were still jammed. I've replaced the rear drums/disks pads and shoes as per Bodsys bible because they were horribly corroded. I wound back the rod inside the EPB as per the unjam post but as I said above I cant tell if its re-latched or not.
Any ideas?
I've added a picture of what I think is my epb being "latched" (there's no gap between the sensor and the metal bit, like in the unjam/repair topic.
Thanks in advance, I know EPB faults are a common thing on here, but I'm stumped.

Maybe the cables are seized at both wheels so will not moving in the outer casing

I had the same c1a47-01 fault code and after taking the cover off the EPB I found the ribbon on the force sensor to be damaged. I am now replacing the force sensor.
