Help needed with Tow bar storage LR020002
Hello, I just have bought a second hand storage bracket and have tried to fit it in my Disco 3 seven seater.
I know there was a fitting instruction from Land Rover some time ago in the internet. But actually I cannot find it. Does someone can tell me how to fit it or where to find the instructions?
In my car there seems to be no holes for the bolts. I only can find two holes with about 10mm diameter without threads for fitting a bolt. Maybe someone can make some fotos of the bracket with bolts in place?
best regards, Thomas

It fits just inside the left hand cubby box in the rear, the two holes in the towbar holder need to be pushed under the carpet floor and on top of the metal floor, will be much easier to remove the two luggage retaining anchor points on the left in the floor to enable you to lift the car lift floor.

Many thanks to you both.
This may help. But the holes for the bolts I do not have in my car. I will take some Fotos the next days when I will try the installation a second time.
I will report.

Do the holes have a black circular sticker over them - are the stickers the same colour as your paintwork?

The studs that come with the braket when new are self tapping, they cut their own threads as you screw them in, otherwise you will have to buy a thread tap and tap the threads out Thumbs Up
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Thanks to you all,
no, there was no tape with paint on the wholes.
And the Information with the special screws which cut the thread by themselves was exact the information I needed. I have a second hand unit with no screws. So I have cut the tread by myself and used two 10mm bolts. Now all is fine. see the Fotos. Smile
