L322 Range Rovers certainly have a 90 degree "Servicing" position for the bonnet. I would assume D3/4 do also.

Iāve taken the bonnet off yes it can go to 90 degrees but in my home garage I donāt have the heights

you probably want to block the turbo air intake pipe off at the front. (e.g with glove or newspaper)
things have a habbit of falling down there, or dirt.
