Faults finally gone stripped it all again and everything seemed ok so emailed gap and they surgested a ecu flash as mine wasn’t up to date
And would u beleave it the fault codes have all gone and I been out in it started it up bet 10 times
Just incase anyone else does this that bolt I took out sits in between the clutch acuator which is sort of like a 2 prong fork once it’s in properly it will be springy one way and solid the other way then you know it’s in ok
After
Flash didn’t even have to relearn clutch points
The gap team are so helpful as well it’s unreal so glad I went with the iid tool
They even gave me access to a beta filmware for the iid tool to see if that helped Disco 3 gone but not forGotten

Hi - sorry to refresh this older thread - but I am going through the same thing. When you moved the diff to get the pin aligned, did you mean that you moved the diff through the hole where the motor sits on top? Does it move freely?
just trying to get a mental picture of what is involved as I accidentally removed the pin exactly like you did.
