maxbasscat I've been a member for a few years so free to view. You can have a good poke around, some people bring jump packs to get them started to check they run. Local yard is very popular with foreign buyers as it's so close to Dover. The trucks in there picking up after a sale are registered all over the place.

Yep but £50 or you don’t come in! St Lucia cannot see that one being viable for UK

Must admit I'd love a grey one, but the ones that have come up at the right time have been silver!

These stats and speculation got me curious. Turns out up here the government collects and publishes annually stats of cars and vans, including model, that are registered for road use.

There were 30 petrol (V8s) and 496 diesels registered as cars and 35 diesel vans (cargo only, no 2nd row) on 30.6.2017. Didn’t bother to go back 13 years though. Smile

While I’m not a great fan on the newer style LED rears (black surround), they do look good next to silver.

Mine is the only (1/30) cairns blue V8 in the country. Thumbs Up

I like the orange/blue contrast and was not planning on “upgrading” to clear turn signals. Perhaps older style LED rear lights but need to model first how it would look.

sorry for hijacking your UK V8 thread Whistle

You do need to tint the glass from B post back, looks less like a green house on wheels Laughing

I called it an aquarium effect since the car is cairns blue and not Tonga green. Rolling with laughter the picture in the Park was taken before making it more street credible Thumbs Up

Looks loads better with the black windows.

Also going back to my 2016 rear lights, I too was not sure on then either, but they are growing on me. Next up is gloss black badges, 2016 style front grille, gloss black door handles and mirror caps.
