Vibration from under the floor beneath drivers seat
The problem is, if I leave the D3 for a few days and then start up, before I move off I feel a pronounced vibration from under the floor beneath the drivers seat, this continues after moving off, once the car is warmed up the vibration at very low speed is only just noticeable anyone ever had this issue?
D3 V8
Thanks

Isn't it the air compressor? Sounds like that. My father - previous owner - attached it hard way due to he used it for jacking the vehicle and damaged the holder - it is noticeable when running. Not much disturbing but it is noticeable - vibrations coming from the floor. Hope will get it repaired.

Centre carrier bearing, need the prop if it is, or it’s best to change the complete prop.

Surely the prop shaft dosn't give a "pronounced vibration" when the car is stationary!- if must be seriously loose and unsafe to drive if it does.
Compressor is on passenger side, well it is on mine!
I would suggest off road height and getting on your hands and knees and having a look and feel, sounds more like the exhaust/heat shield to me It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
I've had a look but nothing stands out, the V8 is going in for all the front upper and lower arm replacement in a couple of weeks, will ask them to have a look when its up in the airD3 4.4 V8 2005 sadly now gone

Did you ever figure out what the issue was?
I’ve also got a V8, although LHD, where I in the driver’s seat as well as the front passenger sometimes feel a very light vibration but only when stopped at traffic lights or starting the vehicle. It doesn’t happen all the time which makes it slightly difficult to diagnose. Sometimes there is also a very vague thrumming (for the lack of a better word) sound but it goes away in a few seconds.
There are no codes.

Might be a loose heat shield, particularly as it "goes away" which can be as a result of heat absorption!yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Tell me about it
I’ve added plenty of washers to the heat shields underneath over the past years . I’ll take a look once again and try to rattle some underneath.
the issue for me was the lpg injectors were failing causing poor idle, once they were replaced all was okD3 4.4 V8 2005 sadly now gone
