Its best to use lift "Rods" to nudge it up just a little as it looks better too..

I have 265/70/17 AT2's and I have the suspension lifted by 10mm using the EAS tool (GAP diagnostic) without that lift I get some light rubbing on the arch liners.
The pic below shows the suspension lifted - the other issue is that with the 265 I can no longer fit the spare underneath (despite trying it deflated)

If you remove the exhaust heat shield, you will be able to fit a deflated tire under.
Once installed, the tire is at least 2-3 inches away from the exhaust so no heat issues.
