I used my last from the discount deal just before i went away. I could do with a new deal now (or at least in 3000 miles time)The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

And to ever so slightly jump on the bandwagon what about this stuff? Got 2 x 2l when it was cheap in Tesco, only intending to use it as a top up rather than doing oil & filter changes.

NO!!!
MUST BE C1 or C2!!! yours is C3
As I reported in a similar post in D4 section
C3 has an HTHS higher than C1 which means greater viscous friction (see below pics, Fuel economy is the viscous friction indicator)....
... attention to the rotation of the bearings.....
If you aren't able to look for the C1, you can use the C2

Obvious question DSL, did you have much C3 in the sump before the big bang,
Andi.
Edit, reread post, looks like you haven't used it yet.

No, oil in D3 was from LR dealer (Guava) services. Oil & filter had been changed a few weeks & 4K before and at 7k miles since last change. That car wanted for nothing but the engine still failed, makes it a complete lottery in my mind.
The C3 bottles haven't been opened, they may get used on the old Jazz. Or the lawnmower.

DSL for maintenance.
Thinking about it, the correct magnetec is A5, is that equal to C1 ?
Andi.
