Maybe I am overthinking this but there is nothing in equation that determines that the single shock has the value of half the double shock (2) therefore (1) and as there are two unknowns then the answer could be anything. Even 2021🤔D3 2.7 Zermatt silver (not another one)
D3 4.4 V8 Zambezi silver
D3 4.4 V8 Adriatic Blue
D3 2.7 (gone) Tonga Green
D3 4.4 V8 LHD Tonga Green

Correct.... All of these kind of “brain teasers” start with the same premise, they have something that isn’t obvious on how to count it. There’s also a variant where one needs to figure out that the amount of spokes in a wheel count, etc.

mind you ... I believe it is being "downplayed" these days in favour of left -2-right logic.
at least that's MY excuse,
My children were taught Mathematics using calculators that worked in 'Reverse Polish' notation in which there are no brackets. A massive WTF moment for me after sixteen years of school/uni and twenty years in engineering.

Either you are MUCH older than me or your kids were schooled at a particularly cruel educational establishment! I remember those calculators being around but we weren't allowed to use them up to and including o-levels ... which I sat in 1975 (a year "early" as I was apparently clevererer back then, although it's worn off since )
I actually bought a non-polish-confuserer calculator in 74/75. Commodore SR1800 IIRC. it's still around in a cupboard somewhere and works when I put ordinary batteries in it ... the rechargeable pack gave up the ghost many years ago.
