Is it possible to take out the standard CD/Radio from a D3 and replace it with an aftermarket CD player with Bluetooth ?

I've seen a number of kits available for DIN or Double DIN for the D3. Just remember if you have things like voice commands, bluetooth or higher audio levels with the amps you may or may not lose some functionality or need to adjust the adaptor looms.
If you have a HSE with rear audio for example, those will stop working I think. If you're on a base spec car it might not be an issue though. Alex Threlfall (Nanocom Evolution Owner)

if it's a baseline stereo then it will be easier to do than if it was a highline unit Discovery 3 se gone

It is a single CD unit so I am hoping it will be hassle free to change !

Are you thinking of going to single din, or double din? You could easily drop in a nice high spec double din unit into that - or a android unit with bluetooth handsfree built in. Alex Threlfall (Nanocom Evolution Owner)

I am not sure yet, I have been looking at the android units, they seem to be a reasonable price and look quite nice.

Make sure you dont buy cheap had a few for my girls cars when they had rubbish factory fit stereos and was quite disappointed in there quality and at least 2 of them broke before the 12 months was up Discovery 3 se gone
