2009 egr blanking

Hi guys can I just blank these bad boys or will I need egr delete also

Think you will get eml light on so will need a software patch.

My 2008 EML came on when I blanked the egr's a diagnostic tool (I used iid) used to removed EML but only for it to come back on after a couple of starts.

Now have SW patch and re-map Thumbs Up Iggy/Ieuan

Current LR =

1992 Land Rover Defender Camper

- Gone but not forgotten:
MY10 D4 GS
MY05 Disco 3 'S'
MY14 FL2 HSE manual in Blue
MY15 Disco 4 HSE Lux in Santorini Black
MY08 Disco 3 SE manual in Buck Blue
1960 Series 2 88" (No idea why I sold it!)

Patch and remap. Mines been on for about 40k and been fine. If you have a dpf though I don't think you can.

For some cars (seems to be 2008/9 more than 2007) you may also experience random dropping of suspension and limp mode for no apparent reason. Until the patch is applied.
Thi a fair few people have blanked and live with the EML.
It's not currently MOT test fail on euiv engines. Bodsys Brake Bible
