Drivers door

Help, drivers door not locking..... All others lock, any ideas or help would be appreciated?

Found an old thread, looks like the drivers door lock is a common problem!!

Sorted....... A new door lock mechanism, fortunately I had bought a new one off eBay a few months ago, it was cheep.

Hardest bit was getting the back window clip separated, once that is off you can get at the lock. Didn't take the door handle off, just unclipped the cable going from the lock to the outer door handle at the lock end....... J

Good job!

I must say I tried doing the same for quite a while, but ultimately, and having done a driver and a rear door taking the handle off for both was easiest for me! It's not much incremental effort and certainly felt more productive than swearing at a fiddly bit!
