Loire blue with grey wheels
Morning,
Have a D4 commercial on order and need to make build decisions by the 1st of April.
Still struggling between Corris and Loire. I was thinking the Loire might look quite good with wheels coloured similar to the colour of the door Handles and side vents on the commercials. A light grey?
I didn't know if anyone had a Loire with darker wheels as I can only see them with silver.
For work I really should probably go Corris but it is a bit lighter than I would ideally like.

I have Loire blue, and its a lovely colour - too many grey, black and silver D4's about.
I have seen a Loire with black wheels, and it didnt look very nice. I've always thought shiny silver alloys on a dark coloured car, and dark wheels on a light coloured car seems to work best.

Black Graphite here, with dark grey wheels, should give you an idea...... far far better than silver

Hi, did you make a decision on the body and wheels colour? I've a Loire Blue Graphite on order and I am very close to changing the spec from shiny alloys to gloss grey. I can't find any photos of this combination (maybe for good reason??) - I've seen a Santorini Black Graphite with gloss grey wheels which looks great. I don't want another black car however, and the Corris is everywhere so we've gone for Loire Blue.
What I really need is Land Rover to lock my configuration and I can stop stressing!MY16 D4 Graphite in Loire Blue

Slightly awkward... Was looking again for photos of a Loire Blue Graphite with gloss grey wheels, and still failing to find any, when I remembered that not only had I seen such a car at a dealer, but I had photographed it.

I've asked the dealer to change the order to Gloss Dark Grey. The car isn't due to be delivered until early May, I hope the config is still open

I have changed my mind and am sticking with the shiny alloys. The gloss grey wheels look great, but for me a Discovery Graphite in Loire Blue needs a little brightness about it.MY16 D4 Graphite in Loire Blue

I think it looks good with both coloured wheels! I think I am going with the standard wheels to start ( well as is a commercial I have to do this anyway ) then maybe looks at getting a second set of wheels later on with off road tyres, and maybe get them in a lighter grey to match the grill and side vent.
Trouble is now I have a day left to confirm the colour... still loire atm, but looking at the grey again to be safe?? and then the a very nice looking fuji white went passed me on the M11 on monday!

Still loire at the moment, last day to make any changes tomorrow!
Happy with the spec I have chosen, but I keep flipping between the blue and the grey - main reasons are that a lot of the kit I tow has grey in it, and my current d3 is grey...
Going to be a sleepless night.
