All Black side steps
I'm assuming all sidesteps fit all models from earliest D3 to latest D4?
Has anyone seen any totally black sidesteps anywhere, all the ones I can see have silver (be it stainless or aluminium) along the sides which just wouldn't go. I don't really want tubes or tree sliders as I don't intend venturing too far from the black top........ for a while anyway! Joined the BMWX5 45e group

I don't know the answer to your question, but I have a vaguely related question of my own... The genuine LR side steps and ridiculously expensive (unlike the rest of the car, obviously), and there is more variety available elsewhere, but do not genuine parts like side steps affect the warranty or service pack?

Hi guys in answer to both questions
Sidesteps don't affect ur warranty unless ur claiming on paintwork ect in that area or anything underneath for that matter so non dealer will be fine imo
As for all black side steps there is non but a user from near me on here had a sweet idea of getting the silver bits wrapped cheap effective and it will also protect the silver in the steps so if u do require the silver back all u would have to do is peel it off!!
The wrap also wears really well too so no worries with it peeling or flaking off or stone chips hope this helps a lilGod created heavy armour on 06 sept 1916, on the 7th the devil stood to attention!
