Please clarify to me as I am a bit thick on this sort of modern wizardry. The GSM can be controlled by an App so no need for the cost of a SIM card is that correct? can this app be from the I system and android or even Windows. If this is correct I will dibs one timer and GSM please.

the GSM need a sim, the app is just to make it easier to start, u just press a button in the app, instead of sending an sms, what the app actually does, is just sending the sms command for u
the app work only on Android...
i only used app function a few times... faster to just re send sms command
i just had a prepaid card in, never had to fill it up... only cost is the sms it sends back, when u turn it on..
hopes this help, or just ask

Thank you for that, here you can no longer get a sim that is truly pay as you go they are all on 30day with no roll over so it makes it financially a no go for this sort of operation for me anyway. Thank for your time and sorry to have wasted it.

...Just checking monthly sim costs. Last time I had a PAYG, the credit didn't expire, but looks like that has changed?

here in Denmark we just need to fill up once a year, then it keep running...
U can just connect a wireless remote to it, i have 2 single timers also, with soldering inside ready to connect..
i started out with that, but i wanted more distance in remote.. nice to come in to a warm motor after hours fishing in the winter, so GSM was only option..

Looks like you can still get PAYG credit that doesn't expire here in the UK
Do you have a wiring diagram available?
