Anyone got access to free vehicle history checks, insurance write offs etc..?
Nothing on the log book but dose not look good..
I think i may have come unstuck on a purchase.. 
Or have any knowledge on a D4, original reg number OE12 BVX

Everything under the bonnet or underneath is covered in a corrosion coating, rusty or been resprayed... 7000 miles..
Oh an the engine is new apparently.

I always use https://www.mycarcheck.com for data checks... start from £2.95
You'll need to put its current Reg in then it can confirm data held against the Vin of the car

check with LR to see if its had a new engine as maybe it was done under warranty if it has been changed...
Someone could of had the chassis undersealed as they don't have a very good coating on from the factory Admin on Facebook Discovery 3 & 4 Ownersgroup

When I bought approved, I had 30 days/ 1000 miles to return it if unhappy.

So I guess the question is: "Have you had it for less than 30 days/1000 miles?" Even if you're outside of that parameter, if the vehicle is not fit for purpose then you MAY have some recourse through the law, Citizens advice bureau or a decent solicitor might be the best bet for accurate advice. Did you ask if it had been in any accidents or the reason for a new engine? If you did and they lied then, if you have evidence, they might be on the proverbial sticky wicket. A pm to Land Rover customer services on here might give some weight to your cause. Obviously, getting some legal advice from a qualified person now could save you a fortune down the road,

Does the engine number match that on the V5 and any other paperwork you may have? If not you have a possible get out.
Also their website states (basically) they HPI all used vehicles and carry out checks to make sure the vehicle hasn't lead a hard life. Can they provide proof of these checks?
Otherwise provided the vehicle is straight, the engine is the correct spec (even if not factory fitted) and runs without issue then you could be stuck. Unless they have stated that no body work or mechanical changes been done and the vehicle is factory fresh then they haven't mis-sold anything.
If they state that all is as it left the factory and you have a balance of all warranties (including body work) and the repairs/mechanical work (should it have had them) are not to spec then the warranty may not be valid hence mis selling.
You have some reading of the very small print to do to try and find a loop hole if you really don't want the vehicle 2005 D3 'S' Automatic. EGR's blanked, Alisport silicon hoses from the group buy, RRS alloys, more to come
