the origos are not wide enough. The thule is almost from left to right of the car.
I believe that the bars article nr. i gave is not what thule suggest for the disco. i picjed the longest bars that don't stick out of the car.
Otherwise, the clamps will probably go over the origi LR bars. Some people get by

I'm not sure, my original roof bars are approx 85mm wide and Thule say max width 80mm, I'm doing more research......who would have thought buying a roof box would be so complicated.

These are the "long" Thule roofers without the rooftop. Next to the ski carrier fits the roof box. Some people get by

Those are theThule AeroBar 862. Length is 135cm. You have to order the 3 Thule parts separately, not the kit. Some people get by

I have to ask how why would anyone need a roof box when you already have a caravan behind you in which you can surely carry stuff. Surely the discovery is big enough already. If not you really need to consider what you need to take with you!
And yes I have two kids who seem to need everything but there comes a point when the word No is needed.

Yes 4 kids need a bit of stuff, the roof box comes in handy taking all the stuff to the beach where your cant take the caravan when it is pitched up!

Interesting, maybe all be ok then, the manual says 80mm max width of roof bar on that roof box, I guess theres a little extra allowance

Halford exodus looks the best and is the largest usable area in terms of width and length... Did a lot of research on it when I checked.
As for needing it in addition to caravan and boot then just imagine adding a dog in his crate and kids bikes in the tin tent... Along with everything else putting you over nose weight... Then think about sand filled body boards, wetsuits and dirty bags of charcoal...
See... It's a great idea...MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)
