Using the DAB radio

Is it possible to manually input the name of a radio station on DAB?
All I seem to get is auto-tune and a list of BBC channels

Don't believe so - what are you looking for
DAB can be a bit sporadic in its ability to find stations in certain geography

I'm after to get The Voice (North Devon) and also SAM.FM (Bristol) in particular, but anything other than the std BBC stuff. Thinking how easy it is with the wifi radio at home.

TBH DAB is very patchy down here anyway, didn't expect to get it but now and again i seem to hit a pocket of frequency

I have a MY10 D4 and its very selective on stations, I live in Twickenham so you would think it gets them all but not the case, my DAB radio at home gets all the stations and I go 20 feet outside and the car gets 40% of them Question Question

I think it depends if you are asking it to select national stations or local.

IIRC you can change the selection criteria when looking for stations.

The Voice should have fairly solid coverage across central Devon. It's on MUX 11C on the Beacon Hill, Exeter St Thomas, Holcombe Down and Stockland Hill transmitters and 10C from Huntshaw Cross, Barnstaple and Okehampton.

Sam FM is on the 11B MUX from four transmitters but doesn't go too far south of Bristol. So I guess it depends where you are?
