If by LR2 you mean the previous model Disco, then no they wont, as although they have the same wheelnut PCD, the center hole in the wheel is smaller, so it wont locate on the LR3 hub flange.

Well Freely used to have a 112 PCD, whereas D2,D3 (LR3), RR and RRS all have 120 PCD.

RRS "V" spoke with 275/40x20 Pirelli Scorpions, new never fitted on vehicle, picked up two yesterday and should have the other two late next week, fingers crossed.

had two sets of Vspokes already, so not interested thanks. If they've 275/40 tyres on, they'll be RRS spec, so no good for D3 anyway (rated at 106 I guess)

They're 20" Super 7's.
Can fit with 295/45/20 [Grabber] tyres without any rubbing issues.
I know, cos I got them on mine - for now
...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Hello all,
My name is Mike and I am new to this site (and Land Rover scene as a matter of fact)
I understand there is a "wheels that fits" post but I just want to double check once again to make sure.
I am picking up my brand new 08 Disco 3 V8 4.4 next week and the other day when I was in their service center, there is a set of RR 20" wheels (RRS20) sitting around and were just removed from a brand new RR. I want to double check and see if they can fit in my PETROL version Disco. The dealer says no but this site shows it will be ok.
Please advise and these wheels comes with original tires as well, do I need to change them?
Thanks in advance and looking forward to enjoy my Disco as much as all of you has been!!

post a pic, it will be easier to identify which RR 20's you are talking about. Any RR spec tyres wont do for the D3, as they are not weight rated high enough.

I am so sorry for asking again and again but I need a straight answer.
So, V shape 20", can they fit Discovery V8 version? And what tire size should I use??

in that case yes, wheel will fit with your standard wheel nuts, its just the standard RR tyres are the wrong spec (not weight rated high enough). Those of us who have run 20's on the D3 have gone with either 275/45x20, or 295/45x20, rated at 111 or higher (I used General Grabber 295/45x20 114V)
A few of us have noticed a slight wheel shimmer with 20's, as the D3 doesnt use a dampened steering rack (unlike RRS), although others have been fine. just be warned that if you fit 20's, and have a steering wobble/shimmy, its likely to be this.
