You could get some hubcentric spacers, and then they'd be supported/centered OK.

I just told my insurer that I was running non-standard alloys, and paid a bit more. I dont bother telling them I'm back on standard aloys over the winter.

I looked at some on ebay but as they are only 5mm thick I was told they dont have a flange to take the wheel centre seems a bit of a mis-description to me,unless you know of some that do,what do other members on this forum do when they fit spacers?

actually, thats probably true. It tends to be the thicker ones (e.g 20mm and upwards) that are huncentric and have the lip as well. Theres not enough metal in a 5mm spacer to be able to provide the centering lip.

I'd like to know the answer to that and it seems JDB had them fitted and has a source of hubcentric spacers, but so far I've had no reply from him to my requests for information.
I managed in the end by fitting 3mm spacers and reprofiling the caliper carrier slightly on the inner radius with a sander and can still get the best part of 9 turns on the nuts and the wheel is still supported in part by the centre bore, this is with the 20" westminster wheels. http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic79060.htm

JDB has replied saying "Simples - Ebay - search for hub centric for discovery 3 I recall.
I am back in the UK next week and have access to all my emails - so can find you the supplier then," but I can't find any so guess we will have to wait until next week . . . . .

I have just found these and wonder if the more technically minded think they will do the trick - I think these may be items JDB is referring to. Sorry about the eBay link mods, but hope that is ok as I am not selling and have no connection with the seller!
Hub centric as I understand it should have a flange to take the centre bore of the wheel,these do not and others I have seen on ebay also do not ,as they are only 3mm thick much cheaper and as good in my opinion to pay £11.99 for a set in halfords

FFRR (2006 onwards) & RRS 18" (watch RRS tyres as might be under rated for weight)
Does anyone here know the weight rating of this rim? I have an opportunity to purchase 4 of these and would like to use them on my 2006 Disco3 HSE 4.4 V8(NAS). I would be using them as my off road set of wheels with very aggressive rubber on them. I want to make sure they're up for the task without risk to my safety.

Can't remember but your seller should be able to see that stamped in the inside of the rim.
