Perhaps you should've kept the D3. Too fond of the old girl.
My one has a knock coming from the rear, 330mls on the clock, now that's a minor ball ache.
7 weeks after DS ownership I'm going to have to spend a week back in a god damn DS, double ball ache.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

My Mrs and I are both 5'10'', but her legs are 4'' longer than mine. When sitting, her head is 4'' lower than mine. She has the seat at max. height and reach. I have both at minimum. Even with the wheel adjusted up, I have to duck to see the blue high-beam light. Went for a job as a human cannonball. Not the right calibre.

Our Volvo coaches at work used to come with a more car like steering wheel but drivers complained that they couldn't see the speedo so they now come as standard with one the size of a satellite dish.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

I notice you have an HSE. My first D4 was an HSE with the electric seat and steering wheel but I recently changed it to an SE Tech specifically for the manual seat and wheel.
I'm 6'6" and the lack of electronic gizmos allows the seat to travel back a further inch and the wheel to raise higher, allowing me a full view of the speedo.

I guess I wouldn't have those pointless flappy paddles either!
Oh well, only 3 years of ownership before I can consider another car, by then we'll all be buying Tesla Model X's I expect.
