2012 or 2013 differences
I have a few questions re my recently bought D4 Sept 12 build.
1: I have no light height adjustment but the lights do not seem to be bright enough for Xenons?
2: I have colour sat-nav?
3: I have a pic of 4x4 usage available on the screen?
4: the nav etc operation seems slow, not quite painful?
So not sure if this is all 2012 MY.

All sounds standard for a MY2012 especially the slow operation of the sat nav and my Xenons don't have a height adjustment as the self levelling suspension takes care of that
What model do you have HSE or other?Cheers Ian

Unless upgraded, they won't be Xenons on an XS, nor fairy lights.

It is an XS, so if not Xenons, where is the height adjustment or is it all done on self levelling suspension?

Is there not two roller switches next to the light controls in the cabin ?

I thought you only got the two roller switches with coils because no EAS? I.e. its a quirk of the manual that it talks about something that isn't available in the UK market (on D4)?
If you have halogens and air suspension (i.e. all UK D4s) you don't get the second roller switch because there is no need to adjust them the suspension does it for you. The manual isn't quite accurate in this respect.

I'm just going by the manual tbh as I have xenons ...don't see why it shouldn't be the same levelling principle as xenons now that they use the same fisheye lens though 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

The manual is wrong. It should say for item 6 'adjuster for vehicles with halogen headlamps and coil suspension'.

Yes just the one rotary switch, I was actually looking for the instrument dimmer for 5mins until I tried it realising then, I did not have a head light adjuster.
Is this the troubled 2012 software etc cars or were these earlier 2012's?
