Crikey O'Reilly. That's an amazing price.
My advice to the OP is to hang on to his old one when he's replaced it until someone is selling the lens cover as a separate item and do the oven trick with it. Could get some money back. Never take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Not LR prices
They are the OEM prices, before JLR get their hands on them
Check out cws breakers near Glanstonbury and Daunters 4x4 breakers in Parkend in the Forest of Dean, if the later have one I can collect it and then arrange delivery via forum network if it helps. LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Not really as JLR like to make well over a grand extra profit over and above the normal retail profit when your lights are nicked.
Easy to forget who is the thief in this situation.

Well the only problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

So how do these stand warranty wise ...no doubt as they haven't been through the formal LR network they will only be covered by this company for a year ?21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Bit of an urban myth that you have to go to LR for warranty work.
