United Kingdom 2012 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 HSE Auto Santorini BlackDiscovery 4

Sorted now, got a shim from roofbox and it has tightened it up nicely. It's a very simple solution but the cost is outrageous, £20 + £4 delivery for a thin piece of metal less than an inch square. It was so small I couldn't find it in the envelope at first, no wonder there are no pictures on the website.

They said the spring has probably loosened after moving from one towbar to another, sounded fishy and I explained that I thought it was very poor for the price I originally paid considering the low amount of use it had been subjected to. They were nice enough and reduced the price to £14, still laughable considering if you saw it in B&Q it would look like it costs less than £1. A little black mark against the Atera but overall still think it is fantastic.

Hi all, does the Atera Strada DL slide sufficiently to allow the bottom tailgate to fold flat, even with four bikes on it? I can see the upper tailgate lifts without issue but I wonder about clearance for the lower tail gate to drop flat.

The same query applies for the buzzrack quattro which looks like a great carrier for the money, albeit more fiddly to fit than the Atera Dtrada DL.

Apologies - I am asking about the bottom tailgate for a Landrover Discovery 4 as pictured specifically

Yes. Did it on Sunday with mountain bikes on it, and the dog could jump in from the side ok.
