Hi all.
Just replaced the actuator having reached in the jack storage cubby and found the old actuator came out easily but without me seeing where it was placed.
Put new one in after half removing the boot trim and it seemed to work...for about ten minutes, now it's stopped, bit of a fiddle and it worked to shoot pin out, but not back in..arghh!
I've left it tonight, before I break something, but wondered if anyone had a pic of actuator and cable route to filler.
Thanks in advance

My actuator is retracted and disconnected. It's too unreliable and unnecessary for me. Freelander SE 2005 Auto.
D3 TDV6. Gone.

An update just to finish.
The original actuator in my car was back to front, with the body pointing out towards the boot. Perhaps a previous replacement or LR mistake. It should go the other way and there's a little dent in the panel that the single lug on frame of actuator body sits in to stop it moving when the thing is energised
All done and working.
