I thought I was going to dislike it it, but it looks really smart. I always worry about how matt finishes age. Do they mark easily? My only experience with it was a motorbike helmet and it looked a mess after 6 months, but then I suppose it's a different finish to vinyl.

Looks good!
You should de-tango your headlights like I did to my LR3, and I got a LR4 style grille.
What brand and size tires are you running?
Here is what my 2005 Se looks like with the de-tango headlights and grille.

Yeah it hasn't been done yet. Ran out of vinyl. Should be getting more in tomorrow to complete!

Its more of a Satin than Matte so scratches/scuffs aren't as visible. I did to get some trail stripes a few days ago, but unlike a paint job -- I couldn't buff it out. Just have to replace the small section. The stripes are hardly visible so I'll leave it for now.
The wrap definitely is strong though, I'm using Satin black 3M 1080. Nice and strong stuff. Protects the underlying paint very well.

Wheels are Falken Wild Peaks 285/65/18.
Decent and inexpensive trail tire. Quieter than most A/T's when traveling at HWY speeds.
The plan is to get some stock Range Rover Alloys 20" and wrap with Cooper Zeon LTZ for a more aggressive look. Here's what I'm talking about :

Mine's been wrapped about 4 years now and has started to discolour a tiny bit where it does not get washed as thoroughly - ie middle of the bonnet and top front of the roof, but apart from that the wrap is tough and takes quite a lot to scratch. Apparently it can be removed to reveal a pristine shiny paint surface underneath (it was meticulously valeted before wrapping) - I'm still waiting to see a car thats had its wrap off mind....

Just one word - STEALTH
And another - GROUSE
Maybe the wheels as well (though they do look good in gloss black with the grey original paint...)LeighW
The old girl is on her third engine...
* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)

So after heeding some advice by a few of you guys, I decided I wanted to black out the headlights. Rather than risk compromising the lamps seal, I covered them with Satin Vinyl Wrap. Also covered the roof with Gloss black Vinyl wrap along with the foglight covers.
Here was the result:
Note: The garage lighting was the greatest. I'll take some more in the sun later on.

I have not had any issues with water inside my headlights.
I had a different idea for the wrapping of the headlights. It was just placing 1 strip at the top and one at the bottom making them more rectangular like the headlights on the LR4.
