Turbo lag, more on hills
Hi all,
Just noticed in last couple days that I am getting pretty bad turbo lag on my discovery 3 SE
Can't really notice it on normal driving but when you come to a hill, put pedal flat to floor and it doesn't do anything until it gets to 2k and then all sudden aggressively kicks in, no smoke that I noticed.
I only drive her once or so a week, so not used much, last night was a longer drive and seemed to get better by the end.
I'd say turbo actuator. Current: Discovery 3 06MY (55 reg) HSE Auto Zambezi Silver Allisport Fast Road Intercooler, V8 Brakes, Silicone IC Hoses, EGRs Blanked, Remapped, De-Cat pipe, FBHIC
Freelander 2 2007 HSE Manual Tambora Flame
Previous: FL2 56 reg SE Manual Black (written off )
Disco 3 06 reg B7S Manual Rimini Red
Disco 2 TD5 Y reg ES Manual Blue - Chipped
Several Discovery 300 TDis

No smoke means it's not hoses, WD 40 plus bent wire clothes hanger should cure it.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

This is my problem! I also lubbed up the actuator anyway! So new hose time! Just to find the part number now!
