My wife is retiring from teaching in 3 weeks and for the first time in 30 years we can go outside the main holidays.
so, its a ferry on the last day of August then 3 weeks in France BUT we haven't decided yet where to go.
Thinking the Lot or Dordogne as its a bit further south, Done the Dordogne several times years ago but found it busy in the main holidays.
Any suggestions for September will be appreciated.
Think I may try Camping Cheques as these can be used out of season and offer savings.

I think he is closing on the day we leave so at least there won't be any rush to get off the pitch
Am thinking of going to France earlier next year (as my daughter wants to go the V festival) so might be there again next yearD4 2010 HSE Santorini Black

We are at pentewan sands just now, this is the best site we have been to facilities etc we have a pitch right on the beach kids loving it.
Noticed this site 2 years ago and seen many recommendations on here so decided to give it a try.
Wouldn't worry about removable tow hitch just hauled 1900kg of twin axle van 520 miles to cornwall without any hassle.

Well I'm very lucky this year, having 2 summer holidays. Last week of July down to Pentewan Sands for 2 weeks...... think that will make it 25 years of me going there
Home then for a whole week and then off to our place in Normandy for 2 weeks. We are really close to the beaches so more sun, sea and sand fun
