scotland ere we come

well time for our annual pilgrimage....2 weeks worth .starting next weekend..Plymouth..Gloucester..fauldhouse.
pitlockry,,strathpeffer..fort William..isle of bute...wemyyss bay..stoke on trent...Plymouth...any snow left ????

Mind you in May 2010 we did have snow, and it settled. Then had snow in July, though that didn't.

Don't think there will be any snow left at low levels, only on the tops of the hills

Scotland has some lovely locations, and those that wouldn't even consider suggesting as a noteworthty Whistle

fauldhouse a family thing....ex mining village...uncle was a hard working miner..remember them.

the miners club there was always very busy with folk coming from all over on a Saturday nite..
could seat nearly a 1000 and it would be full....those were the good old days..sadly the place is only just open now....finally completed our hotel booking for our various stops on our 14 days away...hoping to see some snow..the dolphin at chandlery point and much more..and yes there are road signs ..
