Hope you're heading for Gairloch next and not Loch Ness. The scenery is much better to the west of The Great Glen. Thumbs Up
Went for a job as a human cannonball. Not the right calibre.

I was in Strathpeffer last night. A load of us went down from KLB to see Philomena Begley in the Pavillion. I did see the pipe band in the square but it was too wet to stay outside for long. A great night from what I remember.

jamieklb we were just across the way in the highland hotel...yours would have been the first sticker in 1010 miles since last sunday....well today took us to gairloch...inspired by gareths recent trip....didn't dissappoint...THE SCENERY IS FANTASTIC...the roads are very clever how they go over severe terrain..amazing.....and thanks to gareths info we found the Steadman café bistro behind the museum and had a jolly good lunch....went up the south road...around the loop and back the north loop.127 miles from strathpeffer....a very good day got to within 12 miles of ullapool which makes us 687 miles from home....pity not enough time to do the lighthouse run...still another day monday kick on...thank gareth

finally home Monday evening after two days of travelling...total 2056 miles in the 15 days away....glad we got off the isle of bute when we did....same ferry caught fire sunday afternoon and stuck a weemys bay blocking the landing...so instead of a 45 minute service it can now take 3 hours via gourock..
NEVER SAW A STICKER AT ANYTIME
