That's part of the problem - she loves a bit of walnut. Fortunately her addiction is to the swirly walnut rather than the straight grained stuff. Phew, that should save over £400! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Well I voted tacky but the truth is it just doesn't look right, it doesn't match the other 'wood' in the interior Cheers Ian

I feel the same as Ian, maybe if the 'wood' matched and there was more of it, then it wood!? Be a different matter.
I'm sure on the P38 AutoBio, there was wood on both top and bottom of the wheel.D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT
D4 MY13 HSE Lux - RLD/IID BT
P38 RR - Sad parting
110 - Even sadder parting
S3 88" - Still going strong after 23 years of ownership
About ?
Wooden wheels are brilliant & very Jag / Landrover....
This one has wood in the right place....where it can be seen.BREXIT - done properly.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Would make no difference to me I don't like cream interiors especially in a working 4x4 but every one has different tastes.D4
Wooden topped wheels work better than leather ones. They feel nice too.
Where can one buy the wood trim for an HSE that has dark grey instead of timber on the door trims and the centre console area? I think my Disco needs some wood put in its interior ... I sure do.

In the end I stuck with straight walnut trim and and a wood free steering wheel.
Thanks for the input though everyone

Amongst other things, I've got a couple of fence posts in the back of mine. That's the only type of wood that should be in a Disco. It doesn't help that it's not matching either.
Tacky.

not my cup-of-tea..
The wheel is OKish in itself - maybe a bit tacky and not really to my taste.
The "wood" interior trim is really poor though up close. Reminds me of wood effect sticky-back-plastic. Really not upto scratch for a premium motor.
Piano black all the way for me.Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond
Sadly Gone : MY08 D3 TDV6 HSE : Stornoway + Alpaca + Privacy + BAS Remap
