Remap options?
I want to have re map on my D3 2.7 and would like to go the BAS route but the file management side isn't suitable for Mac and or 64 bit windows 8, both of which are my operating systems through Parallels.
Anybody got advice on other solutions and I see there are a number on ebay that are plug in?????

Pete's remap through BBS .... any help if you know someone with the kit D4 Front upgrade/cut back wings n things 'taking a long time but getting there'.
D4 rear upgrade - Narpys helped with that bit
Flack for problem solving and D4 Bluetooth Install/ D4 Heated Steering wheel with Flappy paddles n BBS enabling kit
Disco Mikeys work - Serviced, EGR blanking and 4x4 software upgrade, 3 flash indicators.
B.A.S - FBHIC. Uncle Rays spare wheel protector. Beanie Silver Black badges.

You can have more than one operating system on a computer, why not load Win 7 on your laptop just for the BAS unit, having said that there are numerous remaps available at the moment for less money than BAS remap file alone, prices start at around £150 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Every engine is different and is used in different ways. A good remap will be custom tuned specifically to your vehicle to give the best possible results and the changes made will vary. Should the results not be as expected, the map can be tweaked until the desired result is achieved.
I suppose some boxes will be better than others, but it's no substitute for someone with years of tuning experience and not something I'd go for. Those boxes are not remaps. ... they simply trick your ecu into messing with feulling.
generic maps are not much better
The bas version is your ecu map, remapped Specific to your vehicle for your defined requirements
