INKA seat covers
I received my rear seat covers today for the three centre row seats to allow my dog somewhere better than the boot when I go tintenting with him in May. I'm not one for instructions normally being a geezer so laid all 9 parts on the floor to work out what I had.
3 x seat bases.
3 x backs.
3 x headrests.
The centre seat back and headrest covers are different so it left the right and left seat backs and headrest covers. The seat backs are paneled in three pieces which I assumed are the facing sides which leaves a hole for the catch to tip the back forward so it all makes sense. I checked the instructions at this point to find they are of a different design to the drawings. The drawings look just like LR instructions so took them with a pinch of salt anyway. I have velcro at the bottom of the seat back cover but also at the top instead of reinforced holes for the headreast to pass through. I thought nothing of it and continued to lift the headrest and tip the seat back forward to fit the cover to the seat back. Bloody tight is an understatement!
The seat back is compressed to a point that I wouldn't be happy leaving them on. It's gonna cause damage at this level of compression.
I removed the cover having only got it 2/3 of the way down and the leather looked puckered and creased.
The cover didn't look to me that it would make it past the rear side lumber wing (?) bit of the seat. The stitching is pulled to the point of giving out.
Anyone else had this problem? I expected them to be a good fit but this is way beyond tight.
Cheers in advance.

Left a message with the suppliers to call me back at 11:11 am and called them again at 14:02. The guy who was meant to be calling me answered the phone and then explained that I must have the early MY12 seats and I'd been sent the MY12 on. This is despite the box and website saying they were good for 2010 thru to 2014. They won't send the replacements out until they receive the original ones back.
All in all a bit of a fiasco considering I ordered them from the same guy over the phone and nothing was asked of me regards model or VIN etc. My conclusion at present is that they're muppets of the highest order.

I have a LR ebony set for a 12MY which I was intending to sell but negotiated an extra £700 for the D4 and the seat covers are to stay in.
I did look at the inca ones but the ebay seller was away at the time, so ended up buy the genuine ones but saved a little bit by going for the DVD ones, strangely.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

From what I gather these are genuine without the LR logo. LR source their covers from INKA.
My problem was they didn't fit despite having ordered them over the phone, they had every opportunity to find out which model I had but just didn't ask. Now I have to post them back before they'll resupply. FFRR 2017 4.4SDV8 Autobiography. Cost so much I must be mad!

Well for whatever reason the first set of covers were way too tight and I sent them back the same day with their returns label having spoken to Inka regards the problem. I was told I had been sent the late 2012 covers and I needed the early 2012 covers. I've just called them to see why they didn't turn up yesterday as promised and I was told that the guy I dealt with on the phone was off and that the guy I was now talking to was having to cover all his crap as well! He said he had seen the images of the fit and suggested they had sent out third row seat covers in error but would get the replacements sent out asap. I asked why they had not already been sent and was told they had been missed and would go out tomorrow so to expect them on Monday. They were not third row covers, I'm now not sure they have any clue at all. All this from a company who says their intention is "to always go beyond customer expectations for quality, service and value".

Replacements arrived today and look excellent. I had one problem and that was finding the headrest cover that had stuck to the back of my jumper!

I had bookmarked the Inka site some time ago and went to the site last night to order a pair for my D4 but they have taken down all of their products.
Does anyone know why? Will they be back?

Re-starting this thread which I should have read before ordering.
Ordered a set for my middle row MY16 by phone and got sent Black instead of Beige, as was stated on printed order enclosed. Did the usual call and wait for call back
Obviously had to call them again only to be asked if black would be ok as they think they are out of stock.
Advisor said they are not made in UK as is suggested by their site and packaging and I'm now waiting for a call back to tell me when they are expecting the next batch.

Same here, I'll be sending the black ones back today. I need them for half term so the kids don't destroy the interior and grind crisps, chocolate, Yoghurt etc into the seats.
