Varied reports of success replacing the centre bearing. Most folks replace the prop shaft as a whole. Rolling Eyes

I just faced this dilemma myself. After doing my research on cost vs. benefits I opted to just replace the whole prop shaft. This way I got a new support bearing AND new U-joint. One less thing to worry about in the future.

I purchased the prop shaft from a parts supplier here in the USA who said the prop shaft was made somewhere in the EU (he didn't specify where). Good to know it wasn't China. So, shop around and you might find a reasonably priced shaft yourself. Or, if you're flush with cash you can go buy one from the Stealers.
