Picture the scene ..... you are driving along the M57 near Huyton and all of a sudden you hear what appears to be the "memory selected" tone go . the two tone alert ..... you know the one.
This however is the other way round, low tone then high tone ..... and its coming from the same speaker as the navigation directions.
There are no POI shown which have sounds associated with then - although the motorway is about 4 miles from the dealer (James Edwards) and I wondered if there was some inbuilt tones for LR dealers?!
Puzzled here - it does it every time I drive along this road and is always at the same point .... and only on this 100yard stretch of motorway - in either direction.
Anyone have any bright ideas?D3 05 SE (old one)

i will go along there and see what happens will let you know either way.... do you have a more precise location , i suppose if mine peeps i will know, and is your sat nav directing you or just idle ?

You can set sound notifications for poi's and memory points. I cannot see the point, but you can set a certain sound to announce your arrival at a location, such as home etc. One of the tones is a 'bong bing' as opposed to a bing bong!
I think someones been pressing buttons on your sat nav
