Hi
Not sure if this is in the correct place and I am sure I will be corrected if I am wrong so apologies in advance.
I am thinking of parting with my 2005 td6 S model with 170,000 miles on the clock - some service but has been maintained by a friend who works for a LR franchise whilst in my ownership(past two years). The car will have 12 months MOT and is in good condition - all the usual faults/parts have been fixed or replaced. Oil changed every 5000 miles and has had the gearbox flushed. I am after a bit of advice as to what the vehicle is worth - I was possibly thinking of asking around the £5000 mark. What do the experts on the forum think the value is. Any help would be appreciated - the only reason I am thinking of selling is because I am going to upgrade to a D4.
Many thanks for advice given.
Nick

They are coming down in price now, Ive been watching the D3 hse prices on ebay for approx 8 months or so and they are under 10k with sensible miles, lots of lower spec ones around for a lot less.

That is a little low. I paid £5300 for my immaculate 7 seater D3 with 165K on the clock. I looked for months to find one that was worth having at this low price. I think £6K would be a more realistic price . Freelander SE 2005 Auto.
D3 TDV6. Gone.

If you are happy with it, what you paid isnt really an issue.
I think the D3 price will fall and keep falling they have been to high for a long time.
