these really are the spaniels under carriage
my FBH took a bit of fiddling around to get it to burn properly but i finally got it de-coked and it runs sweetly other than my neighbour knocking on my door in a panic saying my car was making a funny noise and smoking lol he called me unrepeatable word when i explained my beloved discovery was currently warming herself up before i got in

Mine's all wired up and running well. It's a lovely bit of kit, well made and easy to fit with the excellent instructions.
I've had a lovely warm engine, 3 mornings this week.

Neat install Jon ! The route you took the orange W-bus wire is the exact route i cut the length of the wire for !!
I am all out of controllers for those that have asked , the first 6 were using up development parts and didnt cover the full cost to build and test. So those few after were all £135 for the module, £9 for the water-resistant LED loom. Just to reassure those that had one, you all paid the same
Had some good questions and have added notes / FAQ's to the manual in the link on the first post of this thread.

dont understand, if he isn't doing any more at the mo, BAS has loads !! get one of those, they are fantastic
There are various ones on the market BAS, Danhug and discostick's, it depends what you are looking for but for some price will come into it. Goodyear Duratracs

Just fitted mine only took half an hour .
The car is lovely and toastie, the fbh started first time on the 3rd landrover button. Easy to install and great instruction, thanks James.

Glad you are enjoying it.
I came back to my car at the airport earlier this week. It was in the early hours. Walking up to the car i fired up the Webasto. By the time i had my kit in the boot it was roaring away.
Its a nice feeling, similar to getting home and lighting the fire.
I really like the LED in the cabin, somehow knowing its on and seeing the car start it up when you turn on / up the heating is always reassuring.

Yes, before installing the LED, I found myself looking out for the smoke, (which sometimes could not be seen) or listening out for FBH to do its thing!
