FBH with Nanocom

Hi,
I am trying to test my FBH to check it is working using the Nanocom.

I can Prime the unit but it fails the test. I get a simple message "Test Failed: Reason:1!"

Anyone know what this means, and what I should do next?

Do you have the engine running when you try to test run it?

My Nanocom also failed to test the FBH. I know it is working because it started on a cold morning last week. I keep meaning to post on the Nanocom Forum.

Edit - tried it with and without engine running

The engine needs to be running for it to work, ive had to try it a few times on some vehicles to get it to work with a nanocom.

Ok, thanks for the replies.
I will try again tomorrow with the engine running, not cold enough down here yet but will like to be ready!

I'm the same. I know mine is working - I've had it running with the Webasto software and it started up the other morning when it was 4C. But it fails the Nanocom test (though I haven't tried with engine running).

It's in the latest vs under utilities.

I have the same issue with my EVO, so will be looking with interest.

I shall try and answer, but as I do not have the nanocom working in front of me so it is by memory.

After connecting the unit and selecting the bottom vehicle, it goes and reads your car and checks your VIN.

When the menu opens at the bottom it is possible to scroll to the next page, you will find the FBH option about 3 down.

Click into this and the next menu is Prime and Inputs, click on Prime and it allows you Prime and Test.

If I made any mistakes I hope one of the other users can explain better.
