I must need to upgrade my Evo as I don't have that menu.

Guess I'll have to contact Nanocom and work out how to get the latest version software.

This should be fun!

The latest vs is listed in your private area at the bottom of the screen (not the same area and log on as the forum). You then simply download it to your pc, then follow the information to unzip it and update your nanocom in the literature available on the site.

It takes around 10 minutes to update the NC (well mine does anyway), and you do not have to overwrite the old vs, because if you do - you will have to input your unlock code again as many have found post update, as the device will not be recognised on the car without the unlock code..

Many people are using the beta vs, but it does carry additional risks by the very nature so it is entirely your choice on that front.

Installed it last night and primed the FBH. We has 2 degrees C the other morning and nothing and got in the car at 6 degrees so wasn't expecting anything to happen. On the journey into work, stopped at a set of lights and the gauge was reading 4 degrees and lo and behold, a cloud of smoke came from the front of the car, guess it was clearing its lungs.

Many thanks chaps

I am in Germany at present and will not be able to try the new patch until next week, so will try when back home.
I assume we have to install a new version of the beta 1.26 software, is this right?

I can confirm that the nano prime & test is now working on the fbh.with the re released 1.26b beta

The prime sequence lasts about 45sec,
Clear down faults & cycle ignition,
with engine runing test fbh
then clouds of smoke

was enough smoke to fill the drivway & then some Rolling with laughter

Disco 3 MY05hse Sadly gone

All alone in my own little world,
But everybody knows me there, so I'm ok.

Well at least yours is - mine started to show the green status bar, then failed and locked up twice.

Will try and do it again at the weekend, but something is not right with my update / vehicle Shocked

Please don't try it yet. I have had just about every light and fault code show up and cannot drive car. My thread on other forum is here http://nanocom.blackbox-solutions.com/inde...rt=15#5109

EDIT: After clearing the fault codes, it does seem like everything is good again. Phew.

Hi guys,

Seems the end of the test might upset the car if not done a certain way and the car might need an ignition cycle to gather itself. I have pulled the beta for tonight. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Trev,

We of course use incremental beta updates in house, and we had thought keep it nice and simple for the releases. But, good suggestion, and from now on we will do just that.

Regards
