CLimate control not working properly

Hi folks

My D3 has started having problems with the heating. Twisted Evil
Specifically it gets hot on the drivers side when in auto but not the passenger side. Not a problem for me as i don't sit that side but SWMBO'd is complaining. Laughing

When I set the air to come out the dash vents only the one to the left of the steering wheel blows hot air. The others blow cold. Similar happens when its on the screen setting. Passenger side cold.

Any ideas where to start checking for problems? I'm guessing its something to do with the temp controller?
I have done the reset by holding the econ and recirc buttons when switching on and the econ button flashes ten times then it switches onto auto. It hasn't made any difference though.

Cheers Griff

Sounds like the blender motor on the passenger side has given up. I have the same issue and plan to pull apart the dash etc to replace it. I am nervously looking forward to it!

There is a fair bit on here about this issue if you search.

Hi
Im having the same problem with my D3 -05.

I have done the reset by holding the econ and recirc buttons.

I’m getting hot air on the right side and not on the left side (LHD). Its hot on the left side, but not so hot as the right side. Both sides get’s cold when I turn down the temp.
I’m getting these fault codes:
B1B7400
B1B7500
B1B7600
B1B7700

Any solutions?? Must I replace all blend motors on the left side?

I've just ordered a cheap usb borescope to put down the vents and check the blend motors as this seems to be the most likely cause.

Right then stripped down the disco tody to try and figure out whats casuing my problems. The blend motors all seem to be working fine unfortunately Big Cry
So does this mean I'm looking at a new heater matrix??
Any ideas how to test the matrix before I take the plunge?

Take off the side panel and feel / IR gun the inlet and outlet pipes.

Try flushing it first. Plenty how-to videos on YouTube if you have not done this before.
