Private number plates
Just been offered 'AND 26W' (which apparently reads 'ANDREW'...... ) for 'only' £19,995 or offers.
They had some others advertised as well;
DH11 LON, yep can get that but £79,136
A5 TON, ooh, like that but £77,130.......
S108 HAN, that's good but £66,394
RU55 ELL is good but £78,313
I can 'get' all of them and understand they would be significant plates to certain named people but WTF is this one about, what am I missing...... DO54 NJH £68,236
I'm holding onto my 'MUD' and 'PRO' plates and others I've got, one day I'll retire on the proceeds

AN 1 for me 'only' £250k...........
1 AN is (was?) on a Moggy Minor and given 'non transferable' status by DVLA which means it dies out (and no doubt they then flog it..... ) when the car finally conks out and goes to the scrapper in the sky
'TH15 CAR' available on DVLA from December '14 but pretty sure will go straight to "for future auction" status

Sorry but in my native language AND 26W does not read as 'ANDREW'. I would say it reads 'AND 26W' A shapely pair of legs is one thing but a nice bum is not to be sniffed at.

GIB 50N wouldn't exist as no 'I' is used in English plates (NI do but they don't have that format)
G18 SON more likely format?
G16 SON is 'only' £23,495.......
Or 618 SON is 'POA'

I have had my own personal plate with my exact name for a number of years without involving the DVLA and associated costs, though I did have to use a Deed Poll

Been looking for one myself recently, probably my initials and I can get a suitable one direct from the DVLA for around £500:00.
However, I saw ART 4N coming up at the DVLA auction last week, reserve £400:00, and being Arthur, I though I'd register to bid online.
I'd set myself a limit of £1000 plus the VAT etc., and it went for £1400. Not too bothered, I'll get my initials.
However, here it now is on a dealers site for £19,995, that's some mark up!

The DVLA website is pretty good for messing around on ....
I got mine using the 13 as a 'B' to spell my last name 15 years ago for £250
Hours of fun can be had 17 as an 'N' and 14 as an 'A' but you'll know all that already D4 Front upgrade/cut back wings n things 'taking a long time but getting there'.
D4 rear upgrade - Narpys helped with that bit
Flack for problem solving and D4 Bluetooth Install/ D4 Heated Steering wheel with Flappy paddles n BBS enabling kit
