Well I have spent a fortune on various covers, so may as well get the Apple care, knowing my luck it will get damaged with the active life I have

I have gadget insurance with Amex and my bank account so will rely on those.
That said, I'll be careful with my phone - simple.... only a friggin' idiot drives with a large smartphone in their pocket never mind a phablet.
I've bought a Phallet to put my Phablet in....  MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

I bought mine with Amex, have I got gadget insurance with that and for how long?
Just looked at the Applecare, seems the 1yr limited Apple warranty is actually 2 yrs under EU law, so why do they say 1. Just looked to see where my break even point was for repairs (get it, break even  ) I can't see the price of a complete case so its hard to tell, but one screen is not enough and a battery would be covered under EU law anyway for 2yrs.

You'd have to check, mine's an Amex Platinum so it does come with insurance for it for as long as I keep my Amex card. MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

Mines the centurion card so must be the same, never knew it was as long as I kept the card  I must have thousands of items insured that I never knew about

If your's is the centurion then get rid and save a fortune, the platinum has same benefits now but is significantly cheaper annual rate MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

I use fountain pens... they're a lovely piece of design, I look after them and treat them with respect as they are delicate tools of my job.
I see my phones/laptops/tablet devices the same way, I buy quality devices with quality materials because the look and feel makes them more enjoyable to use.
Ok, I smashed my solar keyboard in a fit of rage yesterday... but that was because my printer wasn't working properly with a Windows print driver.... 
(Maybe I should just use biros and Android devices....) MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)
