D3 transmission fault/suspension lowered

Hi guys,
bit of advice please.
Last week after long stand still took the D3 out and got error message after few miles:
-transmission fault/suspension lowered/stop when safe
Local indy checked with Autologic: no fault codes. But to high voltage on A eb B sensor of transfer case.
looked here on the forum and found following:
-low battery: checked with engine running 14V
-brake bulbs, not the case as I have D4 led clusers
-brake switch: no idea how to check
-transfer case: water ingress: still to be checked
-wire harness damage in wheel arch: still to be checked

Anything else?

Update:
checked with multimeter on sensors: around 9.9V on them (should be 5V according to my indy).

Any thoughts?

My D3 is a weekend warrior. I do find that if I don't give it a good run every few weekends, it pops up with the suspension fault, HDC fault, special programs disabled.

From what I've read on this forum, those modules are super-sensitive to voltage fluctuation, so if your battery is a little low (or your alternator isn't behaving as it should!) then you can expect the faults to popup every now and then.

Have you tried either disconnecting the battery when you're not planning on using the vehicle for a while, or just giving it an overnight charge before using it again after a long break?

BTW: Regarding the brake light switch. An easy replacement and a pretty cheap piece of hardware. See this post http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic68283.html

Hi!
Well its pretty common for them to be crazy after standing still 3 or mire days. Mine have gone bananas after 5 days vacation and showed tranmission fault, suspension fault, special programs off. Drove it, stopped it and turned the ignition and it was gone. As jimbo1981 wrote they are sensitive for voltage differences. If it not coming back after new start=dont bother.

Yep, I know the D3 is very sensitive for battery voltage. Buten anyway we ended up changing the transfertcase ecu.
Still need to open it to see if anything obvious wrong with it.

It's driving me crazy. Change the brake light switch and now the trio is permanent. However, if I press the brake and turn on the key they don't come on. It functions ok until I leave off the pedal, literally. I even ran the 3 for a while with the brake pressed a little and light or warning did not come on. As soon I let go the brake pedal the three faults come up.

My brake lights and third light bulbs are ok. Last time I bought one was more than a year ago. Definitely not OEM, but they are working fine.

Can anyone send any pictures of the grounds connection I should check?

I also, bought a new battery and hard reset with a T4.

At last. After 7 weeks of hell. A split cable under rear passenger door rail. Apparently the factory punch cables instead of soldering them when they extend the cables. Thhis cable was completly separated from one another.

So, next time open your truck and start following the cables to find the root to your problems.
