There is a PC program that allows it to be used if you either don't have cruise buttons, or they don't work.
Functionality is pretty limited the moment though.Mark.

A big thanks to all for your support!

Pretty sure that with the latest beta firmware the tool can be controlled via USB and the PC application
Correct, but it offers no advantages over the regular integrated interface or Bluetooth one. We recommend using it only when the cruise control buttons are to be activated with a regular non Bluetooth IIDTool. Else, it just adds a PC and a cable to the equation.

Thought it drew about 25amps?
From my measurements 25 to 30 amps is a typical average draw during the reprogramming period but I have seen peaks of over 60 amps at times. It is from the average figure that we draw comfort from our 25 amp Cteks with the battery smoothing out the rest. Land Rover quote the higher figure as they cannot presume the battery is fully charged and they cannot afford the time in the workshop to fully charge it in advance.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948
