Heck, I reckon *I* could run it for 12-18 months and sell it for what you bought it for  .
My D3 is getting its 180,000 mile service next week and new discs and pads all round this weekend, weather permitting.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the replies. I haven't logged in for a few days as I've been enjoying getting to know my new D3!
I'm very happy with it and have already learned a few bits and bobs from this forum. Hope to contribute in the coming months.
