Just popped into local Lidl stores and bought two 5 litre bottles for £5.99 each

Have to say it is great stuff and I can't understand why other places do not stock screen wash that is a s good in cold winter weather.

Highly recommend you pop and get some before the weather strikes and it sells out quickly

It isnt that bad...

it doesnt pong as nice as others
it doesnt freeze...I will never experience minus 60
....what it does do though (unless diluted) is smear your screen......its sort of "smeary"

the Halfrauds brand stuff:
....Pong is quite pleasant
....doesnt go anywhere near what it states as lower temp limit
..discovered this on route to the alps a couple of yonks ago
....when I managed to unthaw the whole thing I bought Carrefour low temp washer fluid
...low cost, pong is OK & doesnt smear
 BREXIT - done properly.

Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Is it about the same cost for the BMW Stuff?

Never had a problem with the smearing issue on any of the vehicles I have used it on?

Smeared like crazy on my Disco...at 1:1 mix that I ended up with after a higher concentration tried...you wash & then it wipes...took a load of wipes before the screen was clear...almost like the fluid was an emulsion....the outside temp was at its coldest last winter -2 deg I seem to recall

Just doesnt work in VW Golf ......it has a fine spray system that works best with VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda stuff which I get for fre in my company car (we have to use theis because its part of the Companies policy on Legionaires disease....?)...I had to have the nozzles swapped out because I tried other fluids......& got my wrist slapped

Tried LIDL stuff in the FL2 & found it smeared there too if not diluted 1:1

note: good wipers on both D3 & FL2

Question:........do Aldi do thier own brand too ?
