Many would say we are sad getting excited about bulbs. They may have a point but hey ho, it's an imperfect world.

Thread bump.
Is there much difference between the cool blue intense and Xenarc cool blue intense?
Both are working out the same price so wondering what ones better.
Xenarc is Osram's name for the whole series.
The Cool Blue is the old model upgrade bulb, the latest thing is the Unlimited.Paul Redding

'full beam' bulbs to 85w off road ones and they are really white and bright
just a thought that this quote throw at me, what are the "legal"implications here?
I seem to remember something about 55W limit; BUT I've been out of UK for 10 yrs now Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!

85w aren't road legal (as stated on packing) but my view is that they are main beam bulbs and I never have them on when other traffic around and thus why does it matter? I can't see how anyone could tell unless you take them out and that is a pig of a job
No pun intended.

To tie this one up.
Kev91 and i sorted it out finally last weekend, we stuck his car on the drive, taped out where the light pattern sat on the garage door, marked the position on the driveway, put my car on the drive and adjusted my lights till they were the same.
Difference is staggering, i can now see properly in the dark.
The High beam is not needed any more, these bulbs really do stretch into the distance. In loving memory of FA54WSK.
